GET THERE
All roads lead to Rome. Well, maybe… But there are quite a few ways to get to Valdoviño as well. The most easy way is to go by airplane to one of the following airports:

- Vigo (VGO): about 2h drive
- Oviedo (OVD): about 2h15min drive

Without doubt one of the main attractions in the area of Valdoviño are the numerous beaches you find within close proximity. From sheltered bays with calm waters to open beaches with perfect waves for surfing. Valdoviño has it all!

Due to the exposed location of Valdoviño and the many beaches in the area, surfing is the main activity to be practiced. The differently oriented bays offer perfect conditions at pretty much every condition for beginners and advanced surfers alike. GASTRONOMY
Galicia is famous for it’s culinary treats. With over 1000km of coastline, it’s little wonder that seafood from this area is the cream of the crop. Make sure to give the “Pulpo a la Feira” a try – pretty much the most iconic Galician dish there is. But there is more to discover: Learn how to eat Percebes (Barnacles) – it’s not that easy at first – and enjoy the way Hake Fish is prepared in the region. And of course: order some “Pimientos de Padrón” -You will love it!
